What carpet is best for stairs?
A dense twist or a wool-rich loop. Avoid very deep saxonies on stairs, as long piles bend over the edge of each step and wear quickly.
Can you fit a stair runner?
Yes. We fit runners on painted and wooden stairs, and we have done plenty of herringbone runners around Norwich. Ask at your home visit.
How do you measure stairs?
We measure every tread, riser and the landing at the free home visit, so the quote covers the exact amount of carpet and underlay needed.
