Meet Andrew and Andy.
We’re two lifelong flooring guys who’ve seen the industry from all sides.
Andrew started back in 1998, eventually launching his own carpet and flooring business in 2000. At that time, Andy was working for the UK’s largest manufacturer of carpets, supplying retailers like Andrew.
That’s how we met – and over the years, we’ve seen a lot of change in our industry. But one thing has always stood out. Buying carpets should be simple. It should be comfortable. And it should make you feel, well… cosy. But until now, that’s not been the case.
That’s why we started Cosy Carpets.
We’re not weighed down by expensive storefronts, which means lower costs and better service.
And by taking the lessons Andrew learned from building Mattressman, the UK’s number one online retailer for mattresses, we’ve created a scalable business model that gives us the buying power of a national chain, but the heart of a trusted local business.

We also do things a little differently when it comes to price.
By buying select carpets in bulk by the roll and storing them in our own warehouse, we’re able to offer roll stock specials on our most popular products. Passing these savings on to our customers is just another way we’re making flooring feel good.
